Originally built in 1913 as a luxury apartment building, this small European-style hotel has been updated with many styles of rooms that accommodate business travelers and tourists alike. Located close to the Dupont Metro station and the 13th/U St Metro station, the hotel offers easy access to Washington DC and the surrounding areas, the hotel is also convenient placed for visiting local restaurants and shopping. Renovated several times over the years, the Windsor Inn's art deco lobby has original curved counters, moldings, and floor tiles from the 1920s renewal. In 1986, the owner added a 9-room annex which created a diverse and unique 46 room hotel.
